Everything About Exterior Additions

The guys are extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were upfront with the schedule and right on target with the timing to start and finish construction. Communication throughout the process was excellent! We didn’t really know what we wanted and Josh guided us through the decisions based on how we wanted to use it. The best decision we made was adding heaters to our porch so we can use it all winter. We use it more than our family room. I just wish we had done it sooner!!

I had an existing porch that really needed to be replaced. I met with 4 companies. Looking at reviews, how long the companies have been in business, and price I decided to go with Exterior Additions. I met with Josh to go over what I wanted to do. I wanted concrete floor/foundation , ezebreeze product and some type of heat for the winter months. He advised EA could do everything I wanted and their pricing was the best for everything I wanted and items that were included in the contract. He strongly recommended that I consider the infrared heaters instead of gas fireplace b/c he said they heat the space better. So far so good. Those heaters throw off a lot of heat and they are cheaper than a fireplace. I have done a lot of construction projects at my home and I know things won’t go perfectly (they never do) so what I look at is how contractors deal issues. When we encountered hiccups the EA team was all over it…I mean all over it! Every person at EA was very professional, polite, and treated me with respect. They definitely get a A+++ b/c they understand customer service is the key to success. My new porch is a very well built structure that has some great amenities that my old porch didn’t have. It’s the most used room in the house!

To say Doug and his crew are artists would be an understatement. I reached out to Doug when I purchased my home about the deck, knowing it needed a refresh or a complete tear down. I expected that a full tear down would be recommended as it costs more and in the end is more profitable. But Doug actually inspected everything and came back with a few ideas rather than push one on me. They tore down the existing to just a few beams then built a new deck that integrated into the houses roofline and then added screened in sides, a heater, and fans. It looks like it is part of the house, not an add on. During the whole project, the guys would always pick up after themselves, and were courteous when parking on the street. They even put booties on when they had to come into the house. Doug has even followed up after a few weeks and again after a few months to check in and see if anything needed to be addressed and he even came out and inspected it to ensure all was well. Overall, these guys are amazing and I will do business with them again.

We couldn’t be happier. This is the second porch Exterior Additions have built for us. The first one was 16 years ago and we were so impressed with the work then that it really wasn’t a hard decision who would build a porch for our new house. Exterior additions was upfront, and on time, despite the construction industry being in shambles. Josh was our PM and he was great about keeping us updated and checking on the progress. The crew was outstanding, very talented group and was able to work through some out of the normal requests. It seems nowadays it is hard to find a good contractor, but Exterior Additions is outstanding. Hands down the best we have ever worked with.

I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about Exterior Additions. They were a DREAM to work with. The owner and his son are so responsive and the crew that built our porch were some of the hardest working people I have ever met. Our porch is absolutely everything we wanted and more- we use it every single day. Only regrets is that we didn’t do it sooner!

We are extremely happy with Exterior Additions! Our sunroom is full of features that requires nearly every trade including demolition, framing, electrical, masonry, painting, flooring, roofing and plumbing. Josh coordinated the project from quote to final inspection and was always within reach. It’s amazing to see how well everybody works together - true professionals! This kind of management and operation is hard to find these days. They started the project on-time and finished earlier than promised. All the different tradesmen showed up when promised and kept us informed of what was happening. The company feels like the perfect size, with a small family of crews that keeps the customer first, yet they are big enough to maintain the inventories and volume pricing needed to be competitive. Their pricing was fair and their documentation excellent - you know exactly what you’re getting with the itemized costs. In the end, we are DELIGHTED to spend time in the room, which is magazine quality in our opinion!

We had a porch built by Exterior Additions in 2015. They came highly recommended and lived up to the hype. Best contracting experience we’ve had to date! A few of my panels have experienced latch issues, purely due to age. Doug and his team are still providing excellent customer service by quickly fixing these latches. I highly recommend this company!

As I sit out on my porch today on a gorgeous sunny fall day I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have the most beautiful porch in my neighborhood. Exterior Additions is by far the best and most professional contractor I have ever dealt with. Building this porch was the best thing I ever did and I am literally on it 365 days a year. Again if you’re thinking about building a porch Exterior Additions are the people you want for your project!!!

I can't recommend Exterior Additions enough! We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We use our porch every day, and it has quickly become our favorite, most-used spot in our house. Not only are they experts in their field, but they are quick to respond and show up every day until the job is done. Even after the job was finished, they have been super quick and helpful when we had a question. Highly recommend!

Exterior Additions is the best out there. Would recommend them a million times over and over.
